Deidre had her life in order. Her law degree earned her a high paying corporate job in Boston. She had a handsome fiance whom she was about to marry. Her life was on track with her precisely planned timeline. Soon she would be settled down reaping the benefits of many years of hard work and sacrifice.
Life was nearly perfect until the day it all started to unravel, leaving Deidre broken and forced to start over. She knew her plans for her foreseeable future would have to change but any sense of a plan was out of her control. She finds herself learning to trust and hope once again with the help of a special animal who also needs a fresh start. Along with a group of characters who’s shared grief bonds them together for not only a lifetime but an eternity.
It won’t be until Deidre releases control fully that her future happiness can be realized. However, releasing control will also mean accepting the unimaginable. Only then can a new plan for Deirdre’s future begin to form.
Dian is a first-time published author at the age of fifty, who was born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She is a wife and mother of two adult children. Dian has lived the quiet small-town life, where she, like many others, has experienced tragic, life changing events. These personal trials have taught her to believe in the unbelievable and accept what cannot be changed, even if that means escaping into her imagination for a while. Support from close friends and family has allowed Dian to build up the courage to expose a vulnerable layer from within. Although no writing accolades to date, Dian is hoping that this writing debut will be the first of many projects enjoyed by other fantasy enthusiasts.
